2023 WEEK 10 RANKINGS
Things are tightening up as we head into the home stretch of the 2023 season! Just 2 weeks ago, Jimmy looked like he had a firm grip on the Patrick Division lead. He was up 2 games on the rest of the division and scoring points by the truckload. But Pete has now won 4 straight and 6 out of 7, after starting the season 0-2. Meanwhile, some interesting strategy in the Adams Division. Glenn was only trailing Rocky by a single game but had a Week 9 QB problem. Jared Goff and Brock Purdy were on a bye and the QB Waiver Wire pickings were slim, so Glenn decided to roll the dice and leave the spot empty. At the end of the Sunday Games, he found himself trailing his game by 10.84 points with Zack Wilson sitting in Free Agency and ready to go Monday Night. Instead of losing one of his starting QBs for a shot at victory, Glenn stood pat and conceded the game to the Ghostbusters (editors note: Zach Wilson only scored 7.22 points). He loses th battle in hopes of winning the war. And that's why the Springfield Flanders have to be considered favorites to win it all. He's out here playing chess while the rest of us are playing checkers. Now on to our rankings:

#1 Big Rock 2X
Joe Burrow (26) Finally looks like his old self and T Hill (22 - that's Taysom, not Tyreek) gave Rock a spark this week as they easily defeat Wrath of Kahn in a battle of division leaders. Austin Ekeler (21) is also starting to turn his season around as well.

#2 Mel Kipers Best Available
Mel Kiper's BA takes over first with an easy victory over MFT. CeeDee Lamb (28) finally had a big game while Sam Howell (19) continues to impress as a fantasy option. Derick Henry (19) had a throwback game that led to Pete's 4th win in a row.

#3 - Springfield Flanders
Ok, so I praised him in the opening, now I am going to bury him. Leaving the QB spot empty is an embarrassment. Glenn should have known weeks ago that his top 2 QBs shared a bye week and planned accordingly. There was plenty of time to make a trade to avoid the problem. Also, Brock Purdy is not Johnny Unitas. Tyson Bagent (19.8) and Kenny Pickett (12.3) scored enough to win you this week's game. All hope for a division title is now probably out the window. But this is still the best team in our league.

# 4 - Wrath of Khan
Are the playoffs slipping away for our friend Jimmy? Is Travis Kelce (4.4) too distracted with his off-the-field activities? Will Justin Herbert (7.14) be able to overcome his idiot coaches game mismanagement to be a dependable QB1? Will the Jets anemic offense continue to be an anchor around Breece Hall's (10) neck? This was an awful week for Wrath as Daniel Jones, Gabe Davis, Travis Kelce and Justin Herbert combined for 13.4 points!

#5 Peeping Tomlins
Much like last year's playoff squad, this team just keeps hanging around under the radar. They are still 143 points out of the last playoff spot and 2 games behind the division leader. But there is a lot to like on this team. CJ Stroud (52) has had an amazing rookie season while Joe Mixon (17) and Diontae Johnson (22) are solid contributors. Jared has a good mix of rookies and veterans that score at a decent clip.

#6 Milford Football Team
MFT let a golden opportunity go by. They were in a position to pull into a tie for 2nd with Mel Kiper's BA and within a game of first place, but another low-scoring effort squelched any chance of that. Josh Allen (26) was outstanding in this one and Mark Andrews (17) had a throw back game. Otherwise, this is a roster that is in disarray and does not look like it has the horses for a late playoff push.

#7 Black Ghostbusters
The non QBs scored 1 TD this week bringing the season total to 11. That's the only stat worth mentioning. My only hope is that there will be a progression-to-the-mean over the last 4 weeks and these bums score 2 TDs/game each.

#8 '69 Olds
Patrick Mahomes (19.8), Jalen Hurts (29) and Alex Mattison (17) had good weeks. The rest of the team combined for 40 points. I feel like I can just copy/paste this recap every week.

#9 Skoal Bandits
Woo-Hoo. Skoal Bandits get their second victory of the season. Cole Kmet (23), Tee Higgins (19) Bal D/ST (18) were the high scorers this week. If anyone is looking for some WR help, Craig may be able to help. Pittman, Olave and Higgins can help a lot of teams that need some WR /Flex depth. Toss him a keeper and you can probably get all three.

#10 - Dark Helmet
Amari Cooper (24), Baker Mayfield (23) and Josh Jacobs (21) had strong performances in Week 9, but it wasn't enough. Another team playoff contenders should look at if they want to strengthen their everyday lineups. It's obvious Josh Jacobs is going to get fed under new coach Antonio Pierce. Baker Mayfield would make a decent QB2 so nobody else has to suffer the indignity of leaving that spot blank on a bye week. But again, Dan will need a keeper in a deal where he can ship out a QB, Deebo Samuel and Brandon Jacobs.
