WEEK 13 RANKINGS
This is it! We are coming up on the final week of the 2024 KAOS season in what has been one of the least competitive campaigns we have seen in a while. We have had two teams (MKBA and Ghostbusters) that were solid beginning to end. Dark Helmet and Springfield Flanders have been in the hunt for most of the season while Stick Rock got off to a fast start but has had trouble scoring lately. Peeping Tomlins and Wrath of Kahn hung around the outskirts of contention for the first 10 weeks before fading in November while Skoal Bandits had a roster that was a player or two short. Unfortunately, the season has been a disaster right from the beginning for '69 Olds and MFT.

The playoff picture heading into Week 13 is as follows:

Black Ghostbusters - Clinched the #1 seed and is riding a 9-game winning streak. Playoff Odds: 100%
Mel Kipers Best Available - Clinched the #2 seed. They have lost two in a row after starting the season 9-1. Playoff Odds: 100%

Dark Helmet - Joe Schoen might not have seen the value of Saquon Barkley, but Dan sure did. He has been riding the RB to the playoffs and Barkley has delivered. They currently have a 116 point lead over the 5th place team. Playoff Odds: 95%

Stick Rock - This was one of the better teams in the league through the first 7 weeks, but have fallen on hard times lately. They are clinging to the final layoff spot with an 18-point lead over Springfield Flanders. Playoff Odds: 55%

Springfield Flanders - Simply, they need to outscore Rocky by 18.08 points this week. Prediction - Flanders will outscore Stick Rock this week 157-141, but will fall just short of the playoffs. Playoff Odds: 40%

Peeping Tomlins - They were close up until Week 8, then they proceeded to score 110 points or less in 3 of their last 4 games. Currently 97.20 points behind the 4th place team. Playoff Odds: 5%

Wrath of Kahn - Jimmy was unable to build on his Weeks 10 and 11 success and has limped down the stretch scoring 111 and 126 over their last 2 games. They are 108.88 points out of the last playoff spot. Playoff Odds: 4%

Skoal Bandits - They couldn't replicate their 155-point Week 11 outing and scored a meager 115 points in Week 12, extinguishing any remaining playoff hopes. They are now 116.86 behind Stick Rock. Playoff Odds: less than 1%

'69 Olds - They were playing Week 12 for pride and hung tough all weekend long. Just when it looked like they had the game won, Matthew Stafford threw a TD pass on the last play on Sunday Night, handing Ray his 9th loss of the season. They are 200 points out of the final playoff spot. Playoff Odds: less than 0.1%

Milford Football Team - One of the most dismal Cup defending runs in KAOS history. After winning the championship last year, they only won ONE game all season long, averaging a meager 114.68 points/game. Playoff Odds: less than 0.1%

1. Ghostbusters (Last Week #1)

As mentioned earlier, they were trailing all weekend and looked like they were heading to their 2nd loss of the year when Matt Stafford (23) tossed a meaningless TD Pass late in a blowout loss to give the Ghostbusters a narrow win. Josh Jacobs (29) and Bucky Irving (27) contributed to the victory. With another win in Week 13, Ghostbusters can tie the KAOS record of 12 wins in a season currently held by Springfield Flanders.
2 . Mel Kipers Best Available (Last Week #2)
For the 2nd week in a row, MKBA scored a ton of points (185) and still lost, this time to Dark Helmet 221-185. Jayden Daniels (35), Lamar Jackson (26) and Jahmyr Gibbs (34) were the lead scorers for the week
3. Dark Helmet (Last Week # 3)

The auto-draft juggernauts keep rolling with a 221 point effort in Week 12. Saquon Barkley (53), Tua (36) and Conrad Sutton (29) led a balanced Week 12 attack.
4. Stick Rock (Last Week #4)

The regular season can't end soon enough for Stick Rock. Fortunately for them, they built a huge 100 point cushion through six weeks that has dwindled to 18-points heading into the final game. George Kittle (20), Cooper Kupp (20) and CJ Stroud (19) did just enough to get them the Week 12 victory.
5. Springfield Flanders (Last Week #5)

Glenn keeps chipping away, but they are running out of time. They knocked another 24 points off their deficit this week and will need to do the same in Week 13 if they want to crash the postseason party. Terry McLaurin (23), AJ Brown (22) and Will Levis (21) led the way in this one.
6. Peeping Tomlin's (Last Week #6)

Another uninspired outing as Jared's squad only scored 107 points in what probably extinguishes any playoff aspirations. Nico Collins (20) and TJ Hockenson (18) were the only players that bothered showing up for the game.
8. Skoal Bandits (Last Week # 7)

Another Week 12 low score as the Bandits managed just 115 points this week. Luckily, that was enough to get the win over the Tomlins. Unfortunately it did not help their playoff hopes. Baker Mayfield (18), David Montgomery (16) and Cameron Dicker (16) were the high scorers.
9. '69 Olds (Last Week #9)

Ray-Ray looked like they had the win wrapped up. They led all-day Sunday and were favored to win heading into SNF, but it wasn't meant to be as they went down in a 144-135 defeat. Patrick Mahomes (34), DJ Moore (26) and JSN (19) played well in the loss.
