Final Regular Season Rankings
For the most part, everything was decided before the Thanksgiving Holiday. Ghostbusters, MKBA and Dark Helmet had all clinched the 1, 2 and 3 Seeds. Peeping Tomlins, Wrath of Khan and Skoal Bandits ran out of gas after Halloween while '69 Olds and MFT died shortly after Labor Day. The only excitement that remained was the battle for the final playoff spot with Stick Rock leading Flanders by 18 points heading into the final game. And boy, neither team wanted it. Stick Rock finished up on Sunday Night with a meager 110.38 points as the two dependable scoring options left in his lineup didn't bother to show. George Kittle (1.7) and Chuba Hubbard (2.3) combined for 4 points. But luckily for him, Flanders failed to take advantage of the situation by only scoring 122.54 points of their own, leaving Glenn 5.92 points out of the last playoff spot. It all came down to the Browns D/ST on Monday Night to see if Glenn can pick up the needed 6-points for the victory. This is one of the few moments where the anticipated drama of the moment delivered. It looked like Glenn was in trouble early in this one as Jameis Winston put up 17 points in the 1st half. But a pair of Interceptions for the Browns D (including a pick-6 late in the 1st half) had Glenn up 2 points with one half to go. But Cleveland kept scoring and at 11:12 PM Rocky had re-taken the lead when Winston threw a TD Pass and gave Stick Rock a 0.92 lead! But, as we have all learned from watching Winston play football over the year, Jameis giveth and Jameis Taketh away. That's right. With less than 2 minutes left to play and The Browns going in for another score, Winston threw another pick-6. ball game over, Glenn wins! I think the QB summed up Rocky's feelings very eloquently in the post below:

So, with that game in the books, the playoff teams are set. The Ghostbusters will choose their opponent sometime before 12:00 Noon on Wednesday December 4th and the pairings will be set. Please remember that the postseason games are two weeks long and you will be able to change your lineups at the conclusion of the first week. The rest of you will be playing for Consolation prizes and draft seeding next year:

-
Stick Rock will play Peeping Tomlins in the $50 Consolation Game matchup. who ever wins the Week 14/15 game will win a crisp new $50 bill (and will proceed to be treated like a criminal if they actually try to use it in public)
-
Skoal Bandits will play Milford Football Team in the 1st round of the Lottery Tournament to see who will get the first pick in the 5th Round next season.
-
Wrath of Khan will play '69 Olds with the winner getting the team that advances between Bandits and MFT for the Lottery Draft pick.

1. Ghostbusters (Last Week #1)

They enter the playoffs as the number one seed riding a 10-game winning streak. Their 12 wins ties the KAOS record set by Springfield Flanders back in the 2010 season. They have been the luckiest team in KAOS avoiding any major injuries and enjoyed a bit of scheduling luck as well.
2 . Mel Kipers Best Available (Last Week #2)
#2 in the seedings, but #1 in everyone's hearts. They ran into some tough luck at the end of the regular season, but this team has consistently scored points by the truckload. They outscored #1 seed Ghostbusters by 89 points this season. It will be a tough go in Round 1 as both Lamar Jackson and Jayden Daniels have the late bye week. But this team has the scoring power to overcome an empty slot in the lineup for one week.
3. Dark Helmet (Last Week # 3)
This team might be hitting their stride at just the right time, averaging 170.65 points/week since Week 8. Not bad for an auto-draft team! Another playoff team that will need to comb the waiver wire for a starting QB in Week 14 as Bo Nix is on a bye.
4. Springfield Flanders (Last Week #5)

They sneak into the playoffs with the miraculous MNF Defensive effort mentioned above, but they are clearly boys among men in the playoff landscape averaging 144 points since the beginning of November. For perspective, the other playoff teams have averaged (since 11/3):
Ghostbusters - 180 Points
Helmet - 168 points
MKBA - 167 points
5. Stick Rock (Last Week #4)

As bad of a gut-punch this loss was to end Stick Rock's season, it still only qualifies as their 2nd worst defeat. The first being during KAOS' inaugural season in 2009. They were winning the Championship game by 23 Points after the 1st half of the MNF game and the Ghostbusters only hopes rested on Adrian Peterson who had been shut out through the first 2 quarters. But Peterson would go on to score 21 points in the 2nd half and then added 4 more points in Overtime to send Stick Rock down in defeat.
6. Peeping Tomlin's (Last Week #6)

Too little, too late. The Tomlins put up 152 points this week! Unfortunately, that was on the heels of averaging 119 pts/game the previous 4 games which killed any chances of making the playoffs.
7. Skoal Bandits (Last Week # 8)

It became obvious during the late Sunday afternoon games that Craig has not been paying attention this Fantasy Season. They began prematurely celebrating a win over the Ghostbusters only to see Bucky Irving reel off 27 points in the late game while Baker Mayfield suddenly remembered he was Baker Mayfield scoring a mere 12.2 points. Ghostbuster magic comes through again!
8. Wrath of Khan (Last Week #7)

A strange season ends in a loss for Khan as they drop their last 3 games. The team did not have a great start to the draft and the keepers killed them, but Jimmy kept them competitive for most of the season and within in reach of the playoffs until a 111.52/126.3 stretch in Weeks 11 and 12 dashed any postseason hope.
9. '69 Olds (Last Week #9)

Ray-Ray ends the season on a winning note, but this season never really got going for them. It started with an early injury to Isaiah Pacheco and got worse with the declining fantasy production from Patrick Mahomes. When half your keepers don't perform well, it's hard to win. Another keeper, DJ Moore, was too inconsistent to depend on.
