WEEK 9 RANKINGS
Another week and once again we have no change in the Top 4 teams. Ray is begging to be dropped with another subpar game from Patrick Mahomes and by extension, a subpar week for '69 Olds. Pete's team was feeling a little too healthy and since he didn't get a player that got hurt this week, he traded for a player that did. The Ghostbusters moved into first place in their division. That news brought more joy from the Skoal Bandits and Black Chargers as they now are propelled into a fight for the Wild Card spot with Flanders. Only 22 points separate the 3 teams.

#1 Milford Football Team (#1)
MILF beat dad but lost Derrick Henry this week. I am not sure if the injury was worth the victory, but MFT keeps pace with Ray in the division even if he lost ground in the points race to the Ghostbusters. Was the Henry for CMC trade worth it? McCaffery has not been able to stay on the field for the majority of the last two seasons and Darnold at QB isn't going to help his production.

#2Â '69 Olds (#2)
What the hell is wrong with Patrick Mahomes? We all saw the Monday Night game. He isn't the same dynamic QB as he was in years past. His throws are off target and he doesn't seem to be moving as well outside the pocket, limiting his ability to extend plays.

#3Â Black Ghostbusters (Last Week #3)
A down week for the Ghostbusters, but they still put up 177 points. This team is hitting on all cylinders as each week brings a balanced attack up and down the lineup. The only fly in the ointment has been Travis Kelce's subpar play for over a month now.

#4 Skoal Bandits (#4)
Tough loss for the Bandits this week as they couldn't take advantage of a down week for the MILFs. Kyler Murray's 8-point dud on Thursday Night set the tone for the week. It was such a letdown, Calvin Ridley was too depressed to play on Sunday. Bandits suddenly have a huge hole in the WR1 slot as nobody knows when the troubled receiver will return.

5 Black Charger 22's (#6)
Oops! I forgot to update Rocky's status for Week 9. I am here to rectify that in the limited amount of time I have. HE WON! And in a weird tie-breaking process, he drops from 2nd place to 3rd place for his troubles. In classic Rocky fashion, he went through the roller-coaster of emotions through the weekend as evidenced by the screenshots of texts below during his matchup with Glenn:

#6 - Springfield Flanders (#5)
Flanders lost a huge Week 8 matchup to the Black Chargers as a victory would have virtually eliminated Rocky from the Division race.Flanders will now face the Ghostbusters in Week 9 with another chance to clampdown on first place. He'll have to do it without Aaron Rodgers and his lame anti-vax mindset.

#7 Tittsburgh Feelers (#7)
Another loss for the once lucky, now reeling Feelers. They slip to .500 and now are in 4th place in the division. They need to start winning or start scoring as they currently sit 160 points out of the final playoff spot.

# 8 - Wrath of Khan (#8)
A bright spot in a long dismal season for Kahn. Wrath doubled up Pete's QB-less lineup this week with an impressive 163 point outburst. Jim was able to put aside his early 2022 Fantasy Baseball Planning and enjoy his second win of the season. I don't have the heart to tell Jimmy we haven't had a Fantasy League in 3 years. For those who don't know, Jimmy and I use to alternate championships back in the day, Between us we won 7 consecutive titles.

#9 You Down With CMC? (#9)
We are at the "Not even trying" portion of the season for CMC. How bad is it? They traded their team's namesake for the gone-for-the-year Derrick Henry.

#10 - Dark Helmet (#10)
I try not to take too many shots at Dark Helmet. He has had a strong team for most of their franchise history. They came into the season with the third highest win total in the All-Time KAOS standings. Who knew we would be in the month of November and he still hasn't added to his win total?
