Week 5 Trade Update

You see folks? That was easy. There was an in-season fantasy trade. Ray went onto the ESPN website, designated Cooper Kupp as “likely to trade”, I saw it and made a fair offer. I get a receiver who (when healthy) can carry a team. What does Ray get? A Top 10 RB that is better than anyone currently on his roster and a Top 15 WR that can produce out of the flex. He was able to fill two spots for a player who has missed 13 games over the last 2 seasons.

The deal does come with risks for both of us. With Kupp’s injury history there is no guarantee he returns to the player he was in 2021. But this was a trade that makes each team better going forward. So to the rest. of the league, the seal has been broken. Start putting trade offers out there. Especially if anyone thinks this trade was one-sided in favor of Ray or me. If you believe that, then put some one-sided trade offers out there of your own. A player that may be expendable on your roster might be playable on someone else’s.

Luckily, Matt Berry has written a "How-to" trade article this week, allowing me to take the day off and giving all you a break from my nonsense. I have embedded the article below. If you are having trouble viewing it, you can click on this link.
